Hello Everyone,
We did it! While I am happy to see another term end because it gets me one step closer to graduation, I have to say that I have enjoyed this class more then I thought I would. I can say that I have stressed more in Comp II then Comp I, but I think we should as this is stepping our writing up a notch.
The one piece of advice that I would give to anyone taking a writing class is to prepare, prepare, prepare! What I mean by that is research, research, and research. Once you have a thorough understanding of your topic, then comes the hard part of paring it down to a manageable and making sure your sources are legitimate.
My thesis and introduction has definitely been strengthened this term. I have taken all the great advice to heart and I finally got it! The beginning of any piece of writing needs to be succinct and attention grabbing so attention to detail is very important.
Personally, I think every writing opportunity is a chance to hone my skills and learn something new each and every time.
I truly enjoyed this course and again, wish to thank Professor Z and my fellow classmates for all your help and guidance.

The End
At this point in the writing term, I am just plain tired. On the other hand, I have learned more about scientific writing in the last eight weeks then I have learned in a long time. My Comp II class at a ground campus was not this hard!
I do have to say that I have put a lot of thought and energy into my paper this term and it has stressed me out! I don't know about you all, but sometimes the pursuit of perfection is not always attainable.
I have always enjoyed conducting research and that will never change. When I decided to get another BS degree, I chose Public Health because I knew nothing about it, and I research each and every topic that we discuss. Once we quit learning, we quit growing.
Thank you classmates and professor for all your great comments and advice.

To Blog, or Not to Blog
Hello Everyone,
I am going to start with the last question first. To be very honest, I will probably not continue to blog after this term. Not only am I busy with work, school, and family but I am on Facebook, Instant Message, Email, etc and I am horrible about logging into my account to check my messages. Doing this blog was a fun way to share information with my classmates and to "think out loud" but I know that it will not be a priority after class ends.
I think everyone in this class (including the professor) gave viable, constructive advice to me in Discussion Board and I sincerely took the advice to heart when finishing my paper. I have said more than once that I like people to give me their feedback because sometimes I cannot look at my paper objectively, and they do. There was only a time or two that anyone replied to my blog; but I did not reply to theirs either, so I am not offended. When we got started this term, it was not relayed that we needed to respond to each other's blog so I did not get into the habit of doing so. I can say that I did read a couple blogs per week just to see what people had to say.
